The Foundation met with the Directorate-General for Maritime Policy (DGPM) in Lisbon, in a working session that defined the strategic axes of a future collaboration between the two institutions. Common areas of action were identified, with emphasis on maritime education, vocational training and the organization of maritime spatial planning.

The meeting laid the groundwork for a structured, long-term relationship that will provide Cape Verde with access to technical knowledge, capacity-building programs, and institutional synergies with maritime sector entities in Portugal. The first joint projects will be announced soon.
