This June, in Lisbon, a Cooperation Protocol was signed between the Carlos Albertino Veiga Foundation and the Portuguese Seas Foundation. This partnership will bring to Cape Verde the first national ocean literacy project using immersive technology: a Virtual Reality Diving Bell, which will be available to children and young people in Cape Verde.
This equipment will allow users to simulate, in a digital environment, the experience of diving to the bottom of the sea, sparking interest in science, the marine environment, and ocean-related professions. It is a pioneering project with a strong educational and social impact, and one that we want to be inspiring for future generations.
