The Carlos Albertino Veiga Foundation was part of the official Cape Verdean delegation at the 3rd United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC3), held in Nice. This participation reinforced the Foundation's commitment to blue diplomacy, ocean sustainability, and the valorization of the sea as a strategic pillar for the country's development.

During the conference, contacts were established with international partners and the foundations were laid for the Foundation's integration into multilateral projects dedicated to ocean literacy, the blue economy, and the empowerment of coastal communities. Cape Verde must be a protagonist in the global ocean agenda, and the Foundation will be present and will be an active part of this journey.
