Partnerships that translate into action.

Following the announcement made in July, the Carlos Albertino Veiga Foundation formalized, during the month of August, cooperation protocols with three important institutions in Cape Verde: the Institute of the Sea (IMar), the National Directorate of Maritime Policy (DNPM) and the National Directorate of Fisheries and Aquaculture (DNPA).

These agreements reinforce the joint commitment to research, sustainable management of marine resources, and the development of projects that benefit coastal communities.

More than a formal act, this signing marks the beginning of a collaborative effort that will transform ideas into concrete actions, with a real impact on the present and future of the ocean that unites us.

With this strategic alliance, new opportunities open up for knowledge sharing, technological innovation, and the development of human capital linked to the sea. The Foundation and its partner entities believe that cooperation is the way to ensure the responsible use of resources and create solutions that address the climatic and socioeconomic challenges facing Cape Verde.
