Cape Verdean sport is at a decisive moment, and the Carlos Albertino Veiga Foundation wants to be at the forefront of this transformation.
The President of the Foundation, Dr. Paulo Veiga, met with Mário Semedo, President of the Cape Verdean Football Federation, to reinforce a shared vision: an organized, professional sport capable of generating national impact.
The occasion also provided a pleasant meeting with the Ambassador of Spain, Ana Parede Prieto, interestingly representing one of Cape Verde's opponents in the upcoming World Cup, accompanied by Cultural Advisor Teresa Cholmeley. Also present was Sónia Andrade, Coordinator of the Secretariat of the Special Partnership between Cape Verde and the European Union.
The Foundation believes in sport as a tool for progress and will continue to work to ensure that it is a true pillar of Cape Verde's development.
