Yesterday, the Carlos Albertino Veiga Foundation celebrated with immense pride the Ocean Summit 2025, held in Mindelo.

A room filled with energy, knowledge, and hope brought together researchers, leaders, educators, and visionaries from Cape Verde, Portugal, and the world, all united by a common mission: to give the Ocean a future.

Projects reflecting Cape Verde's innovative and transformative spirit were presented, including the Diving Bell, the Ocean Observatory, Drones for the Ocean, and the Carlos Albertino Veiga Foundation Hub – initiatives that affirm the country as a true Big Ocean State.

Between inspiring debates and concrete commitments, the Ocean Summit culminated in the signing of the Mindelo Commitment, a symbol of a new stage of action, responsibility, and blue hope.
