During Portugal's "Sea Week" at Expo Osaka 2025, our delegation, headed by its President Dr. Paulo Veiga, signed a protocol with the Directorate-General for Maritime Policy of Portugal (DGPM).

This agreement lays the groundwork for innovative collaborative projects related to Ocean Literacy between Cape Verde and Portugal, which are expected to begin taking shape in early 2026.

This is another step on the path to a shared future, where the sea is the engine of sustainable development and unity among nations, and where the Foundation reinforces its commitment to the sustainable growth of Cape Verde.
