The President of the Carlos Albertino da Veiga Foundation, Dr. Paulo Veiga, visited the Cape Verde Pavilion at Expo Osaka yesterday, reinforcing the importance of this presence for Cape Verde.
In a conversation with one of the pavilion's managers, it was confirmed that the country's visibility will be enhanced at this global event, highlighting its culture, innovation, and the strategic role it plays in promoting the ocean and sustainable development. This presence is a unique opportunity to show the world the relevance and potential of Cape Verde in global contexts.
Also during this visit, he had the opportunity to meet with the Secretary of State for the Sea of Portugal, Engineer Salvador Malheiro. The two delegations — the Foundation and the Portuguese Government — exchanged brief words about the challenges and opportunities of the sea and recorded the moment with an official photo, a symbol of the shared commitment to the oceans and to Lusophone cooperation.
