Commitment to a blue future

On September 9th, the Carlos Albertino Veiga Foundation was present at the World Ocean Summit Europe in Cascais, a forum for debate and action that brings together leaders, experts, and organizations dedicated to the preservation and regeneration of the oceans.

Being present is not just a symbolic gesture. It is reinforcing, with voice and action, our commitment to protecting this vital natural heritage, promoting innovative solutions, and inspiring collective responsibility towards the sea that connects us all.

During the event, it was also possible to hold strategic meetings with international partners and leaders, reinforcing the promotion of Cape Verde and advancing preparations for the next Ocean Summit, which will take place in November in Mindelo, as well as other structuring projects of the Foundation.

Because caring for the oceans is caring for life. And this is a commitment we renew every day.
