Cape Verde is growing: confidence in the future.

The month of October brought good news for Cape Verde. From different areas – economy, education, health, energy and innovation – came signs of a country in motion, one that believes in its capabilities and renews, day after day, its confidence in its own future.

For the Carlos Albertino Veiga Foundation, sharing a country's achievements is a civic duty and a matter of hope. This cannot, and should not, be confused with a political stance; it is, above all, a celebration of what elevates us as a people. Valuing what we do well is also a way to inspire each other, to recognize collective effort, and to reinforce confidence in a better future, built by all and for all.

Results such as the World Bank's estimate for Cape Verdean economic growth, forecasting a 5.9% increase by the end of 2025, or the new financial strategy and implementation plan to unlock critical funding for climate action and sustainable development, reflect a collective effort. This effort should highlight the work of entrepreneurs and teachers, researchers and healthcare professionals, young creators and local communities. All of these are proof that when Cape Verdean talent meets opportunity and vision, progress happens, with determination, creativity, and a sense of mission.

Finally, the official visit to Luxembourg this month also brought good news for entities such as the Foundation, which focuses particularly on education and climate. The bilateral agreements reached reinforced strategic cooperation in these areas and in the energy sector. For the Carlos Albertino Veiga Foundation, this is the true meaning of sustainable development, with growth that leaves no one behind, valuing knowledge, solidarity, and the role of each citizen in building the common good. More than just numbers, these signs are stories of overcoming challenges, of confidence, and of commitment to the future. And it is in this future that the Foundation believes: a united, modern, and humane Cape Verde, where each individual achievement contributes to collective success.
